Day 1
ARRIVAL IN TASHKENT
Arrive at Tashkent International Airport at 08:05 by TK368...A driver meets and transfers to hotel (the early check-in included). AM. Rest. PM. City tour with a local guide: Visit oriental Chorsu bazaar, Hasti Imam Complex (Barakhan Medresha, Tillya Sheikh Mosque and Muyi Muborak Library with famous Holy Osman Koran), Applied Art Museum, Tashkent Metro (Underground which is famous for its cleanness and unique architectural designs) stations, Amir Temur Square, Independence Square, Alisher Navoi Theatre Square. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 2
TASHKENT-SAMARKAND (by train)
After early breakfast a driver drops at the railway station for a morning... speedy train Afrosiyob (Spanish Talgo) to Samarkand. Meet with a local guide and a driver and start the full day excursion program in Samarkand: visit Afrosiyob Museum & hill, Observatory of Ulugbek, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Bibi-Khanum Mosque – the largest mosque in Central Asia, oriental bazaar Siyab, Registan Square (Sherdor Madrassah, Tilla Kari Madrassah and Ulugbek Madrassah) & Guri-Emir mausoleum. Silk paper making center (by an ancient technology). Overnight in the hotel.
Day 3
SAMARKAND – GIJDUVAN – BUKHARA
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Bukhara without a guide. En route, visit... “Rabat Malik” caravansary and “Sardoba” water reservoir from ancient Silk Road periods and stop in Gijduvan for visiting ceramist’s workshop. Also, visit Vabkent Minaret (XI c.) in Vabkent. Upon arrival in Bukhara, transfer to hotel and overnight.
Day 4
BUKHARA
Breakfast in the hotel. Meet with a local guide and start the full day... excursion program in Bukhara: Samanids’ Mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Khovuz mosque, Ark Fortress, Poi-Kalyon complex (Kalyan mosque and minaret, Miri Arab madrassa), Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrassas, Magoki Attori mosque, Trade Domes (Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Telpakifurushon and Toki-Sarrofon), Labi Khovuz complex. Watching puppet making process in a workshop dedicated to the history of the puppet theater of Uzbekistan. The small exhibition hall contains historical materials about the country's puppet theater, its characteristic features and stages of development, as well as about its influence on the culture of Central Asia. Throughout history, local folks have performed different place with puppets by expressing their wishes, dreams, unrealized dreams and criticism. It is a part of our culture!!! Here visitors can also see an exhibition of national Uzbek dolls (40-50 cm), skillfully made from papier-mâché and delicate costumes. Folk show (if available). Overnight in the hotel.
Day 5
BUKHARA – KHIVA
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Khiva through Kizil-Kum Desert without a guide... En route, stop near Amudarya river for photo shooting. Upon arrival in Khiva, transfer to hotel for an overnight.
Day 6
KHIVA
Breakfast in the hotel. Meet with a local guide. Full day excursion program... in Khiva – “Ichan-Kala architectural ensemble” – “Museum under the open sky”: Ota-Darvaza (main gate), Madrassah of Mukhamad Amin-Khan, Kalta-Minor Minaret, Kunya-Ark complex, Madrassah of Mukhammad Rakhimkhan, Mausoleum of Said Alautdin, Juma Mosque and Minaret, Tosh-Hovli Palace (Harem), Karavan-Saray, Palvan-Darvaza Gate, Medrese of Abdulla-Khan, Minaret and Mosque of Khodja-Islam, Madrassah of Shergazi-Khan, Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 7
KHIVA – KUNYA-URGENCH – DARWAZA GAS CRATER
Breakfast in the hotel. A driver drops at Uzbek-Turkmen border “Shavat/Tashauz”... Pass the border procedures. Meet with Turkmen part driver & a guide and drive to Kunya-Urgench for excursion. Discover the Ancient Koneurgench (UNESCO) sight with visiting of the mausoleum of Nadjmetdin-Kubra, mausoleum of Mongol princess Torebeg-Khanum, Kutlug-Timur minaret, Kyrk-Mollah mausoleum, Il-Arslan mausoleum, Dashmechet, Mamun minaret, Dashgala etc. (depend on time). drive to Darwaza Gas Crater through Karakum desert. Enjoy delicious BBQ dinner near the crater.
Day 8
DARWAZA GAS CRATER – ASHGABAT
After breakfast, drive to Ashgabat via Mud and Water Crater. Start city tour with... visiting of National Museum, Neutrality Arch, Independence Park, Earthquake Memorial Complex, Ertogrul Gazi mosque. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 9
ASHGABAT-KOW ATA-NOKHUR-SERDAR
After breakfast visit Nissa (UNESCO) and Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum... Then drive to Nokhur village via Kow Ata underground lake. Visit silk weaving workshops and tribal cemetery. Then drive to Serdar town. Upon arrival in Serdar check in guesthouse. Dinner.
Day 10
SERDAR-BALKANABAD-GOZLI ATA
After breakfast drive through Balkanabad town to Yangikala canyons. Explore the area... Then drive to Gozli Ata pilgrim house. Overnight in pilgrim house. Dinner.
Day 11
GOZLI ATA-TURKMENBASHI-AWAZA
After camp style breakfast, drive to Turkmenbashi Town. Upon arrival have... a short excursion in the city, then transfer to the hotel in Awasa Resort. Rest time in leisure. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12
AWAZA-TURKMENBASHI-ASHGABAT
Time at leisure. In the evening, transfer to domestic airport for departure to Ashgabat. Overnight in hotel.
Day 13
DEPARTURE FROM ASHGABAT
Transfer to airport and take flight to Istanbul by TK flight.
